Abstract |
A visual presenter is used for projecting documents on a big screen to give a feedback in a class. Occasionally, people can not see clearly the projected image when a user’s hand blocks it. To overcome this, we propose occluded region detection and image restoration algorithm. It detects the occluded region by the hand, pens and so on, eliminates the detected region and replaces the blocked region as that of the original document image showing. But we leave the trace (vestige) to recognize the hand indicating. For restoring it perfectly, the reference image updates in real-time when the document is shifted or the user writes something new. |
