Abstract |
Standardization efforts are actively underway for the introduction and commercialization of 5G in 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP). The requirements of the 5G service are dramatically higher than the existing 4G, with the required data transmission rates ranging from tens of Mbps to up to 1000 Mbps. In addition, the communication should be performed with a very low error probability within a time delay of several to several tens of ms. In order to satisfy the high data rate and high reliability among the 5G requirements, a high order modulation scheme and low density parity check (LDPC) channel coding scheme are required. In this paper, we propose the data detection scheme based on soft decision to improve reliability in 5G mobile communication system. Simulation results show that the proposed data detection scheme can improve error rate and throughput of conventional system. |
