Abstract |
The International Telecommunication Union-Radiocommunication Sector (ITU-R) establishes the concept of 5G communication and actively develops new radio (NR) standards for 5G applications that have evolved significantly from the existing long term evolution (LTE) standard. The main requirements of 5G communication service are high data rate, ultra low delay and high reliability. In order to meet the requirements, the signal processing speed is fast and more accurate information should be decoded. In this paper, we propose the intelligent suppression and cancellation (ISC) data detection scheme for NR-based 5G communication system. The proposed data detection scheme can suppress and cancel the interference by combining interference rejection combining (IRC) with successive interference cancellation (SIC). In addition, optimal ordering is applied to cancel the interference effectively in SIC. Simulation results show that the proposed data detection scheme improves the data rate and reliability. |
