Abstract |
In this paper, we propose a method to select shots of interest from a user video through character objectification. The proposed method detects key person after scene and shot segmentation from video and extracts additional information of character to analyze shot-based storytelling structure. Based on this, we have embodied an application system that generates one summary video from the user's input video through editing storyboard creation and rendering process. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that the shot-based analysis method is effective in setting the main characters for storytelling structure analysis. In addition, it is possible to inquire character-centered shots as well as chronological order using the proposed character objectification-based shot selection method, thereby reducing the burden on the user in the frame-based timeline editing method of existing NLE (Non-Linear Editing). Also it is possible to provide an effective manual editing method which can sufficiently reflect the intention. |
