Abstract |
As demand for devices using the latest mobile communications has increased, spectrum resources have reached saturation. As a result, researches on techniques for increasing spectral efficiency have been actively conducted. For example, there may be studies using SSB(Single Side Band) modulation and windowing techniques to improve spectral efficiency using OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) techniques used in modern mobile communications. Windowing technology reduces spectral OOB(Out of Band) power but may damage data subcarriers. To prevent this, WR(Windowing and Restructuring) technology can be used to supplement system performance. In this paper, SSB-WR-OFDM system combining SSB modulation and WR technology is designed and evaluated. Spectral OOB power was analyzed by varying the length using Hann window, and the BER performance in AWGN and Rayleigh channels was obtained. |
