Abstract |
This paper relates to a system for sensing the brake lighting status, which is one of the items for sensing the status of the automobile electric systems. Brake lights are an essential element to send a warning signal to the other following driver when driver have to make a sudden stop while driving. Whether the brake light is normal or abnormal is determined by holding the brake pedal on the foot and checking the lighting status of the brake mounted on the rear of the vehicle, it is very difficult for the driver to check the lighting status of the brake lights unless the other person informs them of the lighting. The system for sensing the brake lighting status sens the brake lighting status and informs the driver directly. The system consists of brake pedal signal part, constant voltage part, reference voltage part, comparison·amplification part and warning signal part. The system manufactured by this study did not generate a warning signal when it was normal lighting but did generate a warning signal when it was not abnormal. Therefore, the configuration of this system is relatively simple and easy to implement, when applied to a real automobile, it will provide one important function for safe driving to all drivers. |
