Abstract |
Recently, a range-Doppler domain based DOA estimation method has been proposed for the AM-radio-broadcasting passive radar system. Since the DOA estimation process is performed after the separation of target signals in the range-Doppler domain, this method is not limited to degree of freedom and spatial resolution. In this paper, by modifying the method we propose a range-Doppler domain based DOA estimation scheme suitable for passive radar systems using FM-radio signals. Through the computer simulations for the analysis of DOA estimation performance, we verify that the proposed method is more effective on the FM-based passive radar systems than AM-based one. |
