Abstract |
This paper describes various types of pulse width modulation (PWM) control method applied to DC-DC converter. The proposed Buck converter reduces harmonics and output ripple voltage using Sawtooth Generator and Spread Spectrum Clock Generator (SSCG). A low ripple voltage was obtained using a random generator and a thermometer decoder, and up to 90.16% efficiency was achieved using a capacitor bank bolck instead of a bias current block. The switching frequency is 3MHz, spreading from 2MHz to 3MHz using the Spread Spectrum Clock Generator. |
