Abstract |
In this paper, we propose a new decoding algorithm for superposition coding (SC) scheme applied to cooperative IoT systems. Unlike conventional SIC (Successive Interference Cancellation) decoding algorithms applied in the existing superposition code scheme, this paper derives bit LLR (Log Likelihood Ratio) for each information directly from received symbols and repeatedly uses it for decoding. The proposed decoding algorithm can correct errors through iterative decoding even when the decoding is unsuccessful with the conventional algorithm, and shows about 4-7dB performance improvement compared to the conventional LCSIC (Linear Combining Successive Interference Cancellation) decoding scheme. |
