Abstract |
In an industrial IoT system, a large number of devices are interconnected to form a single network. In addition, unlike the consumer IoT system, it requires a network such as high-precision low-power, so it should be more robust to the external environment and free from malfunctions. Since it is difficult to verify the interworking of many devices in a real environment, we developed a high-precision emulator for this purpose and implemented a simulator for large-scale device interconnection using it. The simulator supports automatic detection of three frequently occurring errors in wireless network-based embedded system development so that developers can easily debug their own applications. As a result, the emulator has 14 times faster speed than actual device performance. In the large-scale simulator, the memory usage error, network infinite loop error, and execution order error between devices are automatically detected and used for AMI service development respectively. |
