Abstract |
Detecting the pattern of radar signal is a key technology in electronic warfare. The basis of identifying radar types is to extract the PRI(pulse repetition interval) of the radar signal. In this paper, we propose an algorithm that can stably extract the pulse repetition interval even if there is a sampling error in TOA (time of arrival) in the sequence of radar pulses. A kernel histogram is obtained by applying the kernel density function to the conventional DTOA (difference of TOA) histogram. And the PRI is extracted from the kernel histogram based on the centroid and standard deviation. Experimental results have shown that the centroid associated with a relatively small standard deviation corresponds to the PRI of the radar signal. |
