Abstract FANET is a dynamic network of wireless UAVs that transfer data between UAVs without infrastructure. UAVs must be dynamically connected to new nodes at any time. So routing is an essential element and at the same time a network's top priority. The density of mobile nodes is an important variable in routing. Therefore, in selecting the routing protocol, it is important to select the routing protocol according to the density increase and decrease of the mobile node. In this paper, we calculate the delay, load, retransmission, and throughput values of the routing protocol in the simulation. Based on the calculated values, we compared the network performance and analyzed the rate of change of the performance indicator of each protocol according to the change of node density.
