Abstract |
For apartments receiving high-voltage electricity, the apartments can choose between the general and single contract as an electricity supply method. In the general contract, different rate plans are applied to the power consumptions of households and their common parts, where a general high-voltage rate plan is applied to the common consumption. On the other hand, in the single contract, a residential high-voltage rate is applied to the power consumptions of households and common parts. Hence, depending on the amounts and composition of the consumptions, both contracts have their own strengths and weaknesses in terms of the total electricity bill. The management office of an apartment complex can select an advantageous contract considering the amount and composition of the power consumptions. Here, the contract can be renewed on an annual basis. In this paper, we propose a contract method that can be changed depending on seasons between the general and single contracts. We first analyse the contract methods both in theoretical and experimental approaches. For an apartment complex, it is shown that about 1.6% electricity bill can be saved from the proposed method compared to the existing annual contract method. |
