Abstract |
In this paper, we propose a method of improving the precision of the pressure sensor by applying the design and correction technology of the pressure sensor for measuring the explosion pressure in the cylinder combustion chamber of the low-speed two-stroke diesel engine for ships. A diaphragm-type piezoelectric pressure sensor design using quartz to enable dynamic pressure measurement in high temperature and high pressure environments, and a newly proposed Fast Median filter for signal processing and noise removal of the pressure sensor were applied. It also presents a new sensor calibration algorithm to improve the accuracy of sensor measurement. The pressure sensor was manufactured after verifying its performance through simulation through the basic design and circuit design, and the manufactured pressure sensor was tested for performance using a pressure generating simulator. Finally, it was confirmed that it has excellent performance and reliability with an error rate of less than 1% through performance comparison and verification with other companies' sensors after installing the pressure sensor, which has been verified, on the ship engine. |
