Title Development of a Military Charging System based on System Engineering

Abstract Military products are designed and implemented based on user requirements. Because a charging system currently in operation in the military is large and heavy, the military users are demanding miniaturization and lightening. Existing feature should be retained when considering the design of miniaturization and lightening of new charging system. In addition, military users are demanding user-friendly features for operational inconveniences to charging system currently. In this paper, we develop a charging system by applying a system engineering based on development methodology to meet various requirements of users in these environments. We confirm with experiments that the developed charging system satisfies the user’s requirements and can achieve more than equivalent performance over the charging system currently.
