Abstract |
This paper is a study on signal processing of system that can detect landmines for wide areas in a short time by scanning large areas at once by installing Array-Type Ultra Wideband Based Ground Penetrating Radar on mobile platform such as vehicles and robots. Describe the configuration, data format and signal processing of GPR system. The main algorithms of signal processing are data alignment, re-sampling, clutter removal, clustering and parabolic detection. In order to verify the algorithm designed in this study, simulated landmines were buried in the sandy loam of the indoor test site by depth, and data were obtained using a scanner. The analysis of the measurement data confirmed that all landmines within the detection distance of the system can be detected. To improve the quality of images in the future, research will be carried out by applying various post processing techniques. |
