Abstract In this paper, we propose an effective energy trade approach in the microgrid composed of 1:N prosumer and consumers. Currently, a variety of bidirectional energy trade services using a bidding or contract approach, which are mostly 1:1 matching between a seller and buyer, have been implemented on different online platforms. Therefore, for an energy free trade among all the market participants within the microgrid, it should be possible to implement a decision-making of optimal trade quantity and price as well as 1:N multilateral trade. Consequently, the effective energy trade model, which optimizes the profit of seller and buyers within the microgrid composed of 1:N prosumer and consumers, was derived, and it’s optimized performance was validateid by the subsequent simulation.
