Title Nonlinear Observer Design using Event-triggered Method

Abstract Event-triggered observer design method for lower triangular nonlinear systems is proposed. It is shown that event-triggered approach which was usually used for controller design can be applied to nonlinear observer design. The event-triggered mechanism utilizes an exponential term as well as a constant term to avoid too frequent sampling. By using Lyapunov method, it is proved that the proposed approach ensures the stability of the estimation error of observer and does not exhibit Zeno phenomenon. Finally, the simulation example is given to verify the effectiveness of our control method.
