Abstract |
Determining the moisture content of recycled compressed waste paper is very important in the transaction between waste paper suppliers and buyers. The traditional methods for measuring the moisture content of compressed waste bales not only have to destroy the bales, but also do not allow real-time measurement, which leads to mistrust between sellers and buyers. In this paper, attenuation and phase delay are extracted by the transmission of electromagnetic waves to the truck loaded with compression paper, and the complex permittivity is obtained by the conversion equation. we analyze hundreds of measured data in the bale section of a truck loaded with compressed paper, find the distribution, and obtain a representative value of moisture content. Accordingly, its accuracy was compared by applying the formula presented in the previous paper. |
