| Abstract |
In this paper, we optimize spectral and energy efficiency for frequency division duplex multi-antenna wireless powered communication networks (WPCN). Especially, we define the optimization problems to find the antenna configuration of hybrid access points maximizing spectral and energy efficiency of WPCN and find the number of transmit antennas for energy transfer and the number of receive antennas for information decoding based on mathematical analysis including approximation. In simulation results, we verify that the antenna configurations obtained by solving the optimization problems are almost the same as the optimal antenna configurations obtained by the exhaustive search. |
