Abstract |
The diameter of the laser spot, which is determined by the distance from the optical component of a laser positioning sensor to the quadrant laser detector that converts laser energy into an electronic signal, is a key design factor in a laser positioning system. In this paper, we propose a method to calculate the direction information for each size of a laser spot through the computational simulation, and show the results of analysing the simulation and the experimental output using the laser positioning sensor and the laser signal generation hardware. |
