Abstract |
We propose digital watermarking scheme for the region of interest in medical images as a way to change DWT(Discrete Wavelet Transform) coefficients. The three-level decomposition is performed and insert the same binary watermark into each subband(HL3, LH3, HH3). DWT coefficients are divided into predetermined intervals and are changed to the center value of the section according to the watermark.. Watermark detection is performed by comparing the extracted watermark at the same position in each subband. If all of these watermarks are the same, it has not been tampered with a medical image. The perceptual quality of medical images show an average of 48[dB]. The watermark bit error rate according to the compression rate of the medical image is zero at a compression ratio of more than 23% |
