Abstract |
The accurate measurement technology of a target using a camera is a technology mainly used in the splicing process of tire production, curved surface measurement of smart phone glass, and metal ductility test. However, in the process of storing the camera image as pixels, the measured information is lost and causes an error. As the measurement distance of the camera increases, the error also increases. In order to confirm this, an experiment was conducted to calculate the error by varying the distance. In order to test the measurement error of the camera is a camera lens, a test bench, image preprocessing software, and a program to calculate the size of the measurement object on the image. In this paper, we designed and implemented a system to measure the error using the image processing technology that has been mainly used recently, and conducted an experiment to measure the error according to the distance using it. Based on the results, a generalized function of the measurement distance and error was derived during accurate camera measurement. |
