Abstract In this paper, we propose an effective virtual electricity trade approach among households in apartment under single contract electricity rate plan. The existing P2P(Peer to Peer) electricity trade services between prosumer and consumer have been implemented through various online platform, and electricity trade between neighbor in domestic area has been realized by way of KEPCO. This proposal makes it possible for multiple household in apartment to simultaneously participate in electricity trade without the brokerage of power service company like KEPCO. Consequently, the effective virtual electricity trade model optimizing the profit of seller and buyer was derived and the performance of proposed approach was validated through simulation.
