Abstract |
Most drones operate with wireless LAN technology, but messages cannot be collected depending on their location due to their high mobility. The slot length that is the basis of MAC parameters must be changed to improve network performance. However, most of them use slot length as a fixed value regardless of distance. Therefore, this paper proposes an adaptive slot length modulation mechanism for long-distance support and WLAN performance improvement in mobile drone environments and performance evaluation. As a result of the performance, it may be confirmed that the processing rate and delay time are improved compared to the case where the proposed mechanism fixes the slot. |
