Abstract Many previous studies have attempted to prove the effects of LED masks and functional cosmetics on facial skin. Many attempt to show their effectiveness on improving skin health within 4 weeks, which is a short period of time. However, these studies are limited in their scope as they expected to observe immediate effects within a short duration. Many also tried to verify the improvement on skin health without considering differences in skin types. Hence, this study classifies participants according to skin type as measured in the initial stages of the research. LED masks and ampoules were used referencing the user manual over a 12-week period for each skin type. Individual skin issues, such as pores and sebum secretion were checked a total of 4 times. Results showed that there was a significant change in the facial skin data after the test, which was objectively proven by the empirical data collected of the participants.
