| Abstract |
Minimization of energy consumption is regarded to be an important problem in HVAC(Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems due to their high energy-consuming nature. Recently, an increasing number of machine learning based HVAC control schemes have been investigated; however, it is difficult to find HVAC simulation tools that can be used in developing those schemes. In this letter, we introduce a MATLAB/Simulink based HVAC simulation environment and evaluate the performance of our reinforcement learning based method. |
