Abstract |
In this study, an Android-Arduino platform has been developed that a tablet PC controls the I/O devices connected to five Arduino boards, and its performance and effectiveness have been confirmed through the tests. By configuring a RS-485 network with the tablet PC and the Arduino boards, the I/O devices can be simultaneously controlled and monitored by a tablet PC app. In addition, a multi-control program has been created using an open-source Modbus library to exchange the packets between the Arduino boards and control the IO devices. As a result of testing six items, including the process time of the ball-valve automatic assembler and the data error rate during packet communication between the tablet PC and the master Arduino board, all items met the evaluation conditions without any problems. |
