Abstract |
This paper proposes a 12-bit SAR ADC that uses binary search technique to calibrate split capacitors and process variations for bio-signal processing. Calibration switch control logic and a split capacitor array were added to the conventional SAR ADC. The value of the split capacitor, which varies with process(), is found more quickly and accurately through 4-times binary search than the conventional Calibration method. we can calibrated Split Capacitor form ~ using Calibration switch control logic. The proposed SAR ADC was implemented with CMOS 28nm process with 1-poly 8-metal and the Supply voltage is 1V. The active layout area is 939um × 450um. Simulation results demonstrated the power consumption of 25.4μW(Analog power: 13.3μW, Digital power: 12.1μW), DNL/INL of ENoB of ±1LSB / ±1.1LSB, 10.7-bits, and FoM of 33.6fJ/step. |
