Abstract |
In this paper, we propose a resource allocation and user scheduling method to maximize data rates in non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA)-based multi-beam satellite communication systems. First, we design the scheduling algorithm based on the locations of the spot beam generated from a multi-beam satellite and the users. We then optimize the power allocation coefficient to maximize the achievable sum rate under conditions that satisfy the user's quality of service (QoS). Simulation results show that the proposed scheme increases data rates and is effective even in situations where channel estimation errors exist. |
