Abstract |
In this paper, we developed a device that can inspect a welding part of reinforced parts for vehicles in three dimensions. A vision inspector was used to automate the inspection process, and 3D data of the welding part was obtained by image-processing the scanned image while irradiating the welding part with a beam using a laser beam and a camera. The volume of the welded part was calculated using the height of the welded part in the inspection area, and if this value became less than 90% of the reference value, it was determined as a poor parts. The inspection device developed in this paper was able to stably operate at a speed of 20 ea/min. |
