Abstract |
This paper proposed a method to find a new weighting factor and two scaling factors to improve the dispersion error performance of the two-dimensional extremely low numerical dispersion finite-difference time-domain (2-D ELND-FDTD) method on a rectangular grid. In order to minimize the dispersion error in the desired frequency band, the weighting factor and two scaling factors used in the 2-D ELND-FDTD method was newly calculated. To verify the validity of the proposed parameters, the scattering problem of dielectric multilayer structure were calculated, and the calculation results of the proposed method were compared with the theoretical values and the calculation results of the existing ELND-FDTD, H(2,4) scheme, Yee scheme and finite element method. |
