Abstract |
In this paper, a power amplifier for 802.11be application is designed using a 65-nm CMOS RF process. The amplifier consists of two-stage for power gain, both driver and power amplifiers using a differential cascode structure. On-chip transformers are used for impedance matching between each amplifier stage, and for optimized matching in the 6~7GHz frequency band, capacitor bank is used in output matching network. The proposed power amplifier simulation result shows a 24.2dBm of P1dB, 26dB of gain, 24.6% of PAE, -31.9dB of EVM. |
