Abstract |
This paper investigates recent key studies on microservice monitoring, focusing on the unique considerations and issues within container-based microservice deployment environments as opposed to traditional monitoring. It presents an in-depth analysis of the objectives, performance, overhead, and key technologies of various monitoring techniques, and discusses the critical factors to be considered in practical microservice deployment. Additionally, the paper reviews the diverse microservice benchmarks and specific targets of monitoring techniques employed in existing research. The study also addresses the limitations of current research on microservice monitoring and identifies issues for future exploration. This research provides crucial insights for developing efficient monitoring systems for complex systems, thereby enhancing the understanding of modern and innovative software development practices. |
