Abstract Packaging boxes carry various types of products or various objects. The problem at this time is that there is no handle, making it inconvenient for the user. So, some packaging boxes have holes for handles, but this also has the problem of weakening the packaging, allowing the contents of the packaging box to come out, or allowing foreign substances to enter from the outside. This paper is a study on a packaging box handler manufacturing device to solve these problems. The packaging box handler made using the packaging box handler production device is made by combining transparent tape and paper tape. The part where paper tape and transparent tape are combined is used as a handle, and the part with only transparent tape is designed to be attached to both ends of the packaging box. The length of the paper tape combined with the transparent tape attached to the packaging box was set to be adjustable. The reason for adjusting the length of the transparent tape and paper tape is that they must be set to suit the size and weight of the packaging box.The length of the part used as a handle and the tape attached to the packaging box can be set from a minimum of 1cm to a maximum of 50cm. As for the experimental results of the packaging box handler, the OPP was set to 15cm and the CPM was divided into four levels: 20cm, 21cm, 22cm, and 23cm, and the length error of the finished product was measured. As a result, the deviation was good at +0.2Cm -04Cm, and this deviation is the resolution deviation of the encoder.
