Abstract |
This paper presents a multi-numerology orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system suitable for long-distance aerial communications between unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with high mobility. We propose an adaptive transmission technique tailored to this system. Unlike existing adaptive transmission techniques that operate based on feedback of instantaneous channel state information. The proposed technique adjusts the modulation scheme and OFDM numerology according to the communication distance and relative speed between UAVs. Through simulations in aerial communication environments, the proposed adaptive transmission technique has been verified to meet the target bit error rate when channel conditions change. |
