| Abstract |
In this paper, we propose a distance-based shape loss function to address the issue of unclear boundaries between adjacent objects in real-time image segmentation models. Through experiments, we confirmed that using the proposed loss function enables the model to segment objects in a shape that is closer to the ground truth compared to when the conventional cross-entropy loss function is applied. |
