Abstract |
Existing P2P (Peer-to-Peer) electricity trade brokerage platforms have problems such as a 1:1 limited trade structure based on bidding or auctions and uncertainty about whether the arbitrary trade quantity and price suggested on bidding or auctions are optimal to participants. In this paper, we designed a smart meter collaborative network to secure the reliability of trade data and user accessibility to electricity trade, which adopts a market participation strategy that enables M:N multilateral transactions and optimizes the interests of trade participants to single-contract apartment complex electricity trades. This approach performs automated blockchain functions through P2P, metering/trade data dissemination, and a collaborative proof-of-work system utilizing smart meters with embedded wallet data. The proposed system has verified 99.88% functional stability in a parallel processing simulation using monthly electricity usage data from 108 households, and has implemented a P2P electricity trade service through the design of a service network architecture and the execution of a mobile application operation scenario. |
