Abstract |
LoRa is one of the wireless communication techniques capable of low-power and long-distance communications, and is expanding its application scope in the IoT (internet of things) communication field. In this paper, we propose a simple but practical scheme to estimate SNR ??in environments where LoRa operates in low-power mode. Specifically, the proposed scheme estimates noise power from a chip-level received signal and estimates signal power from a symbol-level signal after LoRa demodulation. Through computer simulations, we will show that the proposed scheme works well even where the SNR per chip is less than -15 dB. |
