Abstract In this paper, we propose a Max Down algorithm that iteratively adjusts the phase of the input signal, focusing only on the points where the maximum voltage of the composite signal occurs, in order to reduce the complexity of the PAPR reduction algorithm in a mutual capacitive touchscreen. Additionally, technologies to prevent potential issues during algorithm application are simultaneously employed, reducing the PAPR by at least 3.5dB compared to conventional methods.
