Abstract A Physically Unclonable Function(PUF) is a hardware-based security technology that leverages unique and unclonable physical characteristics to generate secure cryptographic keys. Recently, various implementation methods have been proposed. Among them, the STT-MRAM-based PUF has emerged as a prominent solution, as it can achieve near-ideal performance metrics through efficient post-processing techniques. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of STT-MRAM-based PUFs, analyzes their limitations, and proposes strategies to address these challenges.
