Abstract |
This paper proposes an adaptive and intelligent transmission control scheme to address transmission performance degradation caused by RTT fluctuations, wireless link instability, and device mobility in mobile network environments. Representative TCP variants such as Reno, Vegas, Westwood+, and BBR are comparatively analyzed under mobile conditions to identify their performance characteristics and limitations. Based on these results, a new TCP architecture is designed to dynamically adapt to changing network conditions. In addition, the proposed scheme incorporates an optimal approach for improving real-time transmission quality by integrating four key techniques: protocol switching mechanisms, transport-layer parameter tuning, cross-layer optimization, and a QoS-based automatic selection system. To evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme, simulator-based experiments are conducted, and the results demonstrate significant improvements in key QoS metrics, including throughput, RTT, packet loss rate, and fairness. |
