Abstract |
Recently, video-based head avatar reconstruction techniques using 3D Gaussian splatting have been shown to produce realistic outcomes. However, it is considered a challenging task to individually learn and represent both the light reflections caused by objects such as glasses in the training videos and the inherent colors of the subject. This paper presents an avatar generation method that takes both color representations into account by utilizing HSV images. The proposed technique not only realistically expresses the colors resulting from the subject’s features and reflections but also achieves a reduction in required parameters through the use of HSV images, demonstrating effective learning capability. |
