| Abstract |
Recently, remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) has gained attention as a method for extracting various physiological signals in a contactless manner. Currently, datasets for training rPPG models mostly consist of stable signals from healthy individuals. However, in real clinical settings, real-time monitoring of physiological signals is often required for emergency patients or individuals with specific medical conditions. Recognizing the limitation of not being able to train on data from such emergency situations, this paper proposes a data augmentation technique that artificially generates diverse heart rate patterns by adjusting the frame rate of video recordings. The proposed frame rate adjustment method is expected to improve the accuracy of physiological signal measurement in disease or emergency conditions. |
