| Abstract |
In this paper, we propose a control method for driving the lens of a camera module in mobile devices using a miniature actuator, and present simulation results. We define the factors determining the size of the miniature actuator. And derive a relationship equation between the sizes of permanent magnets and coils and the actuator size. Specifically, we propose a method utilizing multiple coils to reduce the size of the permanent magnet. Also, we derive a relationship equation to minimize the actuator size. Furthermore, we propose a switching control algorithm for applying multiple coils. In the simulation, we identified issues arising from hard handover switching control and proposed a soft handover switching method to overcome these challenges. Through simulations, we verified that this method effectively resolves the problems. |
