| Abstract |
In this paper, we suggest an energy-saving dyeing task planner based on flexible task start time adjustment and a history information input method. In general, most dyeing factories perform multiple color operations on a single dyeing machine rather than using dedicated machines for each color. Moreover, due to frequent delays in the supply of raw materials on site, flexible adjustment of start time for each task is required. For optimized energy and cost-efficient dyeing task planning, it is essential to utilize a database of historical information on processing time and power consumption by product and color. In this approach, the required time and power consumption of target dyeing tasks are automatically input through database retrieval as a default, while allowing selective manual input by the user for new or similar products without existing task history. Accordingly, considering the dynamically variable status of the field, we derived a task planning model that incorporates flexible task start time adjustment and a history information input method to optimize energy savings, and we validated the performance of the proposed method through simulation based on real data. |
