| Abstract |
This study designs and implements a system to address identity authentication issues in online surveys, leveraging blockchain technology and Decentralized Identity (DID). Conventional online surveys frequently suffer from duplicate participation and false responses by the same individual, while centralized authentication systems pose risks of personal data leakage. The proposed system applies a decentralized DID identity management approach utilizing MetaMask, allowing users to manage and verify their identities independently. Verified DID documents are registered on the blockchain, restricting survey participation to authenticated users only once. Additionally, the system enhances privacy protection by verifying identity through wallet signatures while processing survey responses anonymously. This research demonstrates the feasibility of implementing a trustworthy and fair survey platform, VeriVote. |
