| Abstract |
This paper shows how to replace the conventional quarter-wave transmission line with short stub tapped T-network for dual-band applicationss. Compared to open stubs, short stubs can replace impractical impedance and long length with more feasible impedance and half the length, resulting in a wider range of feasible frequency ratios, smaller size, and improved bandwidth. To verify the design concept, 1x2 Wilkinson power divider operating at 1.0 and 2.0 GHz is investigated on an FR4 board. |
