| Abstract |
This paper proposes a production scheduling method for electroplating processes that addresses batch collision avoidance while simultaneously considering energy cost and total processing time. In typical plating systems, multiple batches share processing tanks, which may result in overlapping operations and physical conflicts, particularly in single-hoist-based production environments. To overcome this issue, the proposed approach synchronizes batch processing sequences on a common time axis and applies a collision avoidance mechanism based on the maximum overlap interval shift. In addition, a weighted objective function incorporating both energy cost and processing duration is introduced, reflecting time-of-use electricity tariffs and process-specific power consumption characteristics. The proposed scheduling framework enables flexible trade-off control between production efficiency and energy efficiency, and provides a practical solution for generating collision-free production schedules in real-world electroplating facilities.and we validated the performance of the proposed method through simulation based on real data. |
