Abstract |
We propose a pairwise beam tracking scheme for an air-to-ground (A2G) communication system where an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and a ground base station (GBS) communicate with each other. We designed a long short-term memory (LSTM)-based mobility network (MoNet) to extract the mobility embedding from the received signal samples.. EEach communication node determines the beamforming vectors with high-performance beam alignment. Simulation results show that the proposed MoNet outperforms conventional schemes in terms of normalized beamforming gain and communication rate while communicating with aa UAV flying in a quasi-static random walk trajectory. |
